Onalaska chooses Cowley to lead varsity girls basketball program

Succeeds Shane Schmeling, who stepped down

Onalaska High School has confirmed assistant Tom Cowley will be the new head coach for the varsity girls basketball program, replacing Shane Schmeling, who stepped down after this past season.

Cowley has been an assistant at Onalaska the last two seasons. Prior to Onalaska, he was head coach of Arcadia girls basketball for three seasons, going 56-19 with a State semifinal appearance in his third season.
