Onalaska Community Days brings fun and music to this weekend

This weekend will be filled with fun and music in Onalaska.

The city’s 13th annual Onalaska Community Days began Friday evening. The day’s events ranged from a baseball tournament to bingo and live music.

Community Days organizers partnered with American Legion Post 336 this year, and are set up in the legion’s parking lot.

“Our main goal, we’re trying to bring the community together and do something fun, and then all the proceeds we do go back to the community as well. Last year we were able to donate $5,000 back into the community. This year we’re hoping to do a lot more too,” said Onalaska Community Days Co-Chairman Neil Merritt.

Festivities continue Saturday at 8:00 a.m. with the Paws 4 Independence Pancake Breakfast. You can find a list of events on the Onalaska Community Days website.
