Onalaska Girls Hockey drops season opener
Onalaska girls hockey opened the 2021-22 season Friday night with a 7-3 loss to the Fox Cities Stars.
Onalaska trailed 4-1 after two periods, with McKenna LaFleur scoring the first team goal of the season early in the second period. The Hilltoppers used goals by Jaden Hammes and Anna Szymanski to cut the deficit to 4-3, but the Stars scored three unanswered goals to finish out the third period.
