Onalaska Parks and Rec holds Gift and Craft Show

Show features vendors from three states

Arts and craft hunters from the tri-state area came to Onalaska over the weekend.

They were in Onalaska for the 17th annual Gift and Craft Show at the Omni Center. More than 100 vendors featured everything from home-made jewelry, spices and clothing to food and decorations.  The event was free, but people were asked to bring a canned food donation for local food shelves.

Organizers say the show has become an annual spring event for many people.  “There are a lot of people who come year after year and are returning, they love to see the same people year after year and get the same stuff and know exactly where their booths are that they want to go to,” said Marcus Amann from Onalaska Parks & Rec.

The event featured vendors from Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa.
