Onalaska Police investigate suspicious person
ONALASKA, Wis.– Onalaska Police received a call just before 6 p.m. Wednesday night of a suspicious person at the Check Advance store on Highway 16.
Police say the man came to the store wearing a dark stocking cap, sunglasses, dark wind breaker and dark wind pants. He ran from the area after was not let into the store.
The suspicious person is described as a black man, 5’8″-5’10” and having a stocky build. He was last seen in the area between Ciatti’s Italian Restaurant and Subway. He may have been riding a 20″ blue Haro bicycle that was recovered at the scene.
Anyone who may have seen someone matching this description or acting suspiciously in that area is asked to call police at 781-9550.
