Onalaska’s Community Thanksgiving Dinner was a success

The Onalaska Enhancement Foundation hosted its 5th annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner at the Onalaska Armory Thursday.

Last year volunteers served over 1,000 meals and they are hoping to top that this year.

The entire dinner, which included turkey, stuffing and dessert, was all paid for with donations.

One organizer said it couldn’t be done without the help of volunteers.

“Some some have been here since year one with me so they have come back every year with a smile. We have had some new ones that have come in this year too who we have built great relationships with,” said Christina Rickert, event coordinator.

More than 100 volunteers helped out this year.
