One dead in helicopter crash in Wabasha Co.
ELGIN, Minn. (WKBT)- The pilot of a helicopter is dead after his chopper went down near Elgin, Minnesota in Wabasha Co. Monday afternoon.
The victim has been identified as Corey James Adcock, 40, of Victoria Co. Texas.
The Robinson R-44 knocked down some live power lines as it went down before erupting in flames.
The cause of the crash remains unknown.
The FAA, National Transportation Safety Board, and Wabasha Co. Sheriff’s Department are investigating.
