UPDATE: La Crosse man dies in crash on I-90 in snowy conditions
WEST SALEM, Wis. (WKBT)- A 41-year-old La Crosse man was killed in a rear-end collision on I-90 during snowy conditions.
Gregory Loftus was killed in the crash, which happened at 1:55 p.m. in the eastbound lanes between Onalaska and West Salem.
A semi-truck was slowing down in a traffic back-up from other crashes, and Loftus was unable to stop. His car hit the back of the trailer and became trapped underneath.
The driver of the semi-truck was not injured.
Traffic was reopened in the area just before 5:00 p.m.

One person has died in a crash during snowy conditions Tuesday afternoon on I-90 near West Salem, according to Tri-State Ambulance.
It happened around 2:00 p.m. in the westbound lanes of I-90 near mile marker 10.
Video from the scene shows half of a car under the back of a semi-truck.
The crash closed down the eastbound lanes of the interstate for more than two and half hours. They reopened to traffic just before 5:00 p.m.
