Over 2700 meals delivered with Feed the Kids Program

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The Feed the Kids Program is a collaboration between the Salvation Army of La Crosse County and La Crosse School District.

According to Alex Riley, Volunteer Coordinator & Media Relations of the Salvation Army, 2781 meals were delivered over the summer.

The program allows volunteers to distribute a nutritious meal to kids in need who may not otherwise have a chance to eat lunch when school is out of session.
