Packers sign WR Sammy Watkins
The Packers have signed wide receiver Sammy Watkins to a one-year deal, the team announced Thursday afternoon.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the deal is worth up to $4 million.
The 28-year-old Watkins was the No. 4 overall pick by the Bills in the 2014 NFL Draft. He’s played in 99 career games with the Bills, Rams, Chiefs, and Ravens. Last season with Baltimore Watkins caught 27 passes in 13 games.
Since 2014, Watkins ranks seventh in the league in yards per catch among receivers with at least 300 catches.
