UPDATE: Jim Asfoor Trail in La Crosse to open for weekend, close partly Monday for more work

The Jim Asfoor Trail between Copeland Avenue and Riverside Park in La Crosse will reopen on Saturday and Sunday and close again Monday-Thursday, April 11-14, for vegetation management work.
City crews will remove invasive brush, hazard trees and undesirable tree species.

LA CROSSE (WKBT) — The section of the Jim Asfoor Trail between Copeland Avenue and Riverside Park will be closed for vegetation management work from Tuesday through Friday, according to the La Crosse Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department.
Crews will be removing invasive brush, hazardous trees and undesirable tree species.
