Periods Of Rain Tonight -Bill Graul
Mostly Cloudy & Breezy Friday
Tonight’s Forecast Low: 47F / Friday’s Forecast High: 55F…
A potent area of low pressure sits well to our south over SE Missouri this evening, but it’s throwing plenty of moisture northward into our area. The result will be periods of rain tonight, with the rain most widespread through about midnight… then it should become more scattered after that. Be sure to have the rain gear handy this evening for any outdoor plans. Temps won’t fall much tonight, with lows in the 43-48F range across the region.
A few showers or sprinkles could linger into early Friday, otherwise most of the day should be dry… albeit mostly cloudy. Expect highs Friday in the low-mid 50s, with breezy north winds 10-20 mph and gusts around 25 mph possible.
Partly cloudy and pleasant on Saturday with highs in the 55-60F range. Partly sunny, breezy and a bit cooler for Halloween Sunday. Expect highs mainly in the low 50s, then temps will fall into the 40s for Trick-or-Treat time Sunday evening. Breezy winds will make it feel cooler though.
Looking Ahead… Turning cooler for next week with highs in the upper 40s to near 50F Monday… but most of the week will feature high temps only in the low-mid 40s. Overnight lows will be in the 20s most nights, perhaps near 30F at times. Traditional colder spots may even dip into the teens on a few nights next week. Brrr!
Stay dry and have a good night! -Bill Graul
