Permit changes in effect for La Crosse Boat Landings

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The City of La Crosse is offering new ways for customers to pay for boat landing permits.
New in 2020, customers will now have the ability to pay for boat launch parking in a variety of ways and locations. Boat launch permitting is now per vehicle license plate, no stickers on trailers needed. All vehicles using the boat launch parking facilities must be registered with either a daily permit or a season permit.
Also new for 2020, boat launch parking facilities allow for overnight parking with a proper permit. Contact the La Crosse Parks Department for further information at 608-789-7533.
New pay stations located at all boat launch parking facilities will allow customers to pay for their daily or seasonal permits and can be made with a credit card or exact cash.

Permits are also available to purchase in person or over the phone at La Crosse City Hall Parks & Recreations Office, the Black River Beach Neighborhood Center, or the South Side Neighborhood Center.

If choosing this option, be sure to know the license plate for each vehicle being registered.
