Peru hit by 7.0 magnitude earthquake
A magnitude 7.0 earthquake was recorded early Friday morning in Peru, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The quake’s epicenter was about 17 miles north-northeast of Azangaro, Peru, at a depth of about 160 miles, according to the report.
There were no immediate reports of any damages or injuries from the earthquake, which hit at 3:50 a.m. EST.
