Pet of the Week – Bambi
Bambi is an 8-month old, female, guinea pig who came into the shelter with her sister, Bellatrix.
She is a very shy lady, who will need continued daily handling to make sure she doesn’t stop trusting her humans.
Bambi will need a large home so she has plenty of room to scamper around when she’s not being held.
Don’t forget to provide appropriate chew toys to help wear down her continually growing teeth. Guinea pigs make great pets for older children who have mastered proper handling techniques.
Guinea pigs are very social and tend to do better in pairs. Bambi can be adopted with her sister Bellatrix for only one adoption fee!
If you would like to help our wonderful friends while they are waiting to be adopted, the Coulee Region Humane Society is always looking for donations. These donations go a long way in making the stay more comfortable for our animal guests.
