Pet of the Week – Dakota

ADOPTED

Dakota is a 1-year-old, un-spayed female, Spaniel Mix who is current on vaccinations. She is an outgoing, playful, and very affectionate young lady! Dakota is just an all-around great dog who loves to play fetch and enjoys going for walks. She does very well at keeping her kennel clean here at the shelter so she should do well in her new home given time to adjust and a consistent routine. Dakota lived in a home with other dogs and cats and did well. We feel that she is a dog who may do well with children of any age, however she does sometimes jump up when she’s excited. She is an active and outgoing girl who calms down nicely after being active and enjoys hanging out. She is intelligent and food motivated. She knows sit and is eager to learn even more tricks and commands. This sweet and spunky girl will steal your heart!

If you would like to help our wonderful friends while they are waiting to be adopted, the Coulee Region Humane Society is always looking for donations. These donations go a long way in making the stay more comfortable for our animal guests.
