Pet of the Week – Elmer

Elmer is a senior boy who is neutered, current on vaccinations and patiently waiting for his forever home!

This sweet man is very social and enjoys spending his time around people. His ideal day would be one where he can snooze, snack and get plenty of pets from his favorite people.

Though Elmer is usually a quiet, easy-going guy that’s ready for a nap whenever you are he does get playful at times and would benefit from having a couple toys and lots of comfy beds to choose from. He would love to watch birds out of the window during the day and snuggle up with you at night.

He is diabetic and will require daily insulin and special food for the rest of his life. Ask an adoption counselor for more information!

Elmer should do well in a home with other pets if given slow and proper introductions. He should do well with respectful children under parental supervision.

Visit Elmer or one of the many other animals available for adoption at the Coulee Region Humane Society from 1-5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday-Sunday or 1-7 p.m. Tuesday & Thursday.
