Pet of the Week – Gumby
Gumby is a 3-month-old, unneutered male kitten.
He is an adorable and playful little boy, who takes just a little extra time to warm up!
Gumby was very unsure of people when he arrived at the shelter so he spent several weeks in a wonderful foster home, gaining some confidence! He might still be shy and unsure in new situations, but once he warms up he likes to get pet and spend hours play with his favorite people!
He will need plenty of time to adjust, toys, and maybe even another playful kitten in his new home to help him learn ‘the ropes’ and to play gently!
With time, Gumby adjusted to the large dog in his foster home, and he loved the other cats! He should do well with respectful animals given a proper introduction. He does startle easily and doesn’t enjoy being picked up so he would do best in a quiet home without small children.
If you would like to help our wonderful friends while they are waiting to be adopted, the Coulee Region Humane Society is always looking for donations. These donations go a long way in making the stay more comfortable for our animal guests.
