Pet of the Week – Morty

Morty is a 1-year-old, neutered male, Cattle Dog/Terrier mix who is current on vaccinations.

This cute little man will steal your heart in no time!

Morty is a typical high energy Cattle Dog who is looking for a active owner that has plenty of time for him.

Morty was previous housetrained however he had a set back when his family moved. He has had a refresher course at the WAGS training program and is doing very well! He will need frequent breaks and a consistent routine. He should be crated when he cannot be supervised.

Morty would do well in a home with other dogs but he does require a slow introduction.  He may do well with respectful children of any age.  Keep in mind that he is a bouncy young boy who may knock over small children.

Morty is a fun guy who is up for an adventure! He is full of puppy energy and will need PLENTY of exercise! Cattle dogs are extremely active and intelligent. They require A LOT of physical and mental stimuli on a daily basis.  He is looking for a family that is dedicated to providing enough exercise for him and that is willing to continue with his training so that he can be come best companion!
