Pitch, Hit, and Run Sectionals
A chance to compete at Miller Park
LA CROSSE — It’s a dream of many kids to have the chance to step on the field at a Major League ballpark. And that’s just what was up for grabs today at Erickson Park in La Crosse.
The ‘Pitch, Hit and Run’ competiton offers some of the best youth athletes an opportunity to move on and compete in the state championship later this summer.
That’s held at Miller Park in Milwaukee. From there, the winners there get to represent the Brewers during the MLB All-Star Break.
Today’s event hosted almost 100 kids from all over the area, including as far south as Prairie du Chien and many other communities going up the river.
