Planners holding public meeting on Pearl Street Walkway designs
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – A project to revitalize downtown La Crosse is in the works.
Contractors are working to design a walkway on Pearl Street to make the city more pedestrian-friendly.
“It’s really about connecting to the Driftless area to showcase our community, our region, to draw interest to the area,” said ISG Senior Architect Kevin Bills.
Contractors want to hear the public’s thoughts on the project.
The public meeting begins at 5:30 Wednesday night at City Hall’s council chambers.
