Plenty of Clouds Tonight & This Weekend -Bill Graul
Flurries Possible for Some Saturday Night
WHAT I’M TRACKING: Actually… not much, except lots of clouds for tonight and right through the weekend. With some luck, there may be some breaks in the clouds for some later Sunday. A storm system will track by well to our south over the weekend, perhaps clipping southern parts of the viewing area with a slight chance of light snow showers or flurries.
TONIGHT AND THIS WEEKEND: Mainly cloudy tonight and not all that cold, with lows in the mid-teens to low 20s. Our average low in La Crosse is 10F this time of year. Mainly cloudy Saturday with seasonably chilly highs in the 25-30F range. Flurries possible Saturday night, mainly south. Mostly cloudy Sunday with seasonable highs in the upper 20s.
LOOKING AHEAD: Best chance to see some sunshine over next several days will be on Monday, then mostly cloudy again Tuesday. Small chance for light snow showers or flurries Wednesday and Thursday as another storm system tracks by to our south. Expect highs Monday through Thursday in the upper 20s to low 30s. Better chance of mainly light snow next Friday with a clipper type system tracking in from the northwest. This system will also usher in colder air, with highs by the end of the week only in the upper teens to low 20s.
Happy Friday and have a great weekend! Oh, and think sunshine! -Meteorologist Bill Graul
