Police agencies on alert for deadly ‘gray death’ drug
A new street drug is putting police agencies around the nation on alert.
The drug, nicknamed “gray death,” earned its name because it looks like cement. Police in Ohio’s Lorain County have already put out a bulletin warning officers to be on the look out, WEWS-TV reports.
The drug is a potent cocktail of opiates, combined with heroin and fentanyl, the WEWS story said.
The report said authorities believe the drug has hit the streets in Georgia and that the likelihood of it spreading to other parts of the country are high.
