Police asking for information in home invasion case
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — La Crosse police are asking for help in solving a home invasion on the North Side early Wednesday morning.
Police say two suspects broke into a residence on the 1100 block of Rose St. in what appears to be an attempted strong armed robbery/home invasion. Both suspects were wearing jeans and hoodies with white bandanas covering their faces.
The 1st suspect was a black male who pulled out a handgun and demanded drugs. He is described as 5’7″, medium build, and short black hair.
The 2nd suspect was a white male who began to ransack the residence looking for drugs. He is described as 6′, medium build and in his 20’s.
The victim told the suspects that she just recently moved into the residence and did not have any drugs.
The suspects then asked that the victim not to contact the police and left.
The female victim was home with her 6 and 8 year old children who were sleeping during the incident.
No one was injured or needed medical attention.
This is an open investigation and anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the La Crosse Police Department.
