Police identify Tomah woman who died in crash

TOMAH, WI — Tomah police have released the name of the Tomah woman who died in a crash Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Superior Avenue and Veteran’s Street.

Stevie Jorgensen, 29, died at the scene.

A second driver, Deana Brabant, 45, received non-life-threatening injuries and was transported by Tomah Area Ambulance to Tomah Memorial Hospital.

Dean Pierce, 58, was evaluated on scene by emergency medical technicians and released.

There’s no word on what caused the crash at this time.
