Possible COVID exposure in Crawford County
The Crawford County Health Department says if you develop COVID-19 symptoms through October 3rd to contact your healthcare provider
PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, Wis. (WKBT) – If you attended either of these two recent events in Crawford County, you could have been exposed to a positive COVID-19 case.
The exposures happened at a large UTV ride event starting and ending outside Wauzeka on Sept. 19. Another exposure happened at the Maple Ridge Bible Church Hog Roast on the same day.
The Crawford County Health Department said in a press release if you develop COVID-19 symptoms through Oct. 3 to contact your healthcare provider. Symptoms include: fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, abdominal pain, chills, headache, muscle aches, fatigue, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of smell and/or taste.
“This notice is not saying that this event or business did anything wrong, but is to inform the public of where and when the public may have had potential contact with a lab-confirmed case of COVID-19,” said Health Officer Cindy Riniker, in a statement.
