Preparations underway for Monroe County Dairy Breakfast
Annual breakfast hosts thousands of hungry visitors each year
KENDALL, Wis. (WKBT) — Planning and prep work are well underway for the annual dairy breakfasts in our area.
The Murray family is hosting the Monroe County Dairy Breakfast next month. News 8 had the opportunity to visit their farm near Kendall over the weekend. It’s where thousands of people will be enjoying farm tours, a petting zoo, wagon rides, entertainment and of course a big, traditional breakfast. Those opportunities attract people from all over.
“You’d be surprised. There’ll be people in the area that might be from foreign countries, they’re visiting, we have the bike trail in Monroe County and there’ll be people that ride bicycles out there, you know, and we’ve had a lot of motorcyclists. It’s just a lot of people, they’re all encouraged to come and they do show up from everywhere,” said Monroe County Dairy Committee Chairman Keith Giraud.
The Monroe County Dairy Breakfast will happen on June 4th from 7 to 11 a.m. All are welcome to the Tom and Denise Murray Farm at 26016 County Highway W near Kendal.
