West Salem teen hosts pumpkin painting for ALS

Proceeds are going to help those in La Crosse County who are battling ALS

WEST SALEM, Wis (WKBT) – One high school senior in West Salem is giving back, in honor of her grandfather.

Jenna Lueck, a senior at West Salem High School, organized a superhero-themed pumpkin painting fundraiser for her senior exit project.

The fundraiser is raising money for ALS, a disease that attacks a person’s nervous system.

The event is also being used to remember her grandfather, Benny Snodgrass, who lost his battle with ALS last November.

Proceeds are going to help those in La Crosse County who are battling ALS.

“With the money I get from this, I’m giving it to families with ALS in La Crosse County. I’m making gift baskets for families in La Crose County with ALS,” said Lueck.
