Pumpkin Spice Pecans

Getting started

Equipment you will need: small bowl, Dutch oven, spoon, 10″x15″ baking sheet, wire rack

Preheat oven to 325?

Do right away when you get home: Action steps 1 & 2



2 Tbsp. sugar

1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice

½ tsp. salt

½ tsp. ground ginger


2 Tbsp. water

2 Tbsp. honey

2 tsp. canola oil

1 ¼ lbs. pecan halves (about 5 cups)



1.       Combine ingredients in a small bowl; set aside.



2. Bring water, honey, and oil to a boil in a Dutch oven. Add pecans; cook and stir until all liquid has evaporated, about 1 minute.



3. Place pecan mixture on a baking sheet. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until browned, stirring twice. Cool on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container.
