Questions raised about master plan for La Crosse’s Riverside North
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The city of La Crosse Redevelopment Authority continues discussion on a master plan for the Riverside North project.
The city’s Redevelopment Authority met Thursday night. They decided the committee will provide the master developer additional feedback to move the project forward.
“Really, we want to make sure we’re looking at each section of the property and to make sure it’s being used in its most effective way,” said La Crosse Redevelopment Authority Chair Adam Hatfield.
The Redevelopment Authority says this is an important step in the process. A finalized master plan will give potential developers a better idea of what they would be working with.
This story has been updated to emphasize that the project is not on hold. The Redevelopment Authority plans to get comments back to the developer by early May.
