Rain This Evening… Partial Clearing Overnight -Bill Graul
Nice Day Thursday with Plenty of Sunshine
Tonight’s Forecast Low: 41F / Thursday’s Forecast High: 64F…
Weak low pressure and a frontal boundary are tracking east across the region this evening, bringing periods of rain. The rain will taper and shift east later this evening, with decreasing clouds overnight. Rainfall totals will likely be in the .25″ to .50″ for most. Expect seasonable overnight lows ranging from the mid 30s to low 40s.
Thursday is shaping up to be a nice day… with lots of sunshine and seasonably warm highs ranging from the mid 50s (north) to the low-mid 60s. A warm front will then lift north towards the region late Thursday night into Friday, bringing another chance for showers and perhaps some thunderstorms as well. However, we should get plenty of dry time on Friday as well. Low pressure well to our northwest will then swing a cold front east across the region later Saturday or Saturday night, bringing yet more showers and t-storms. Like Friday, we should get plenty of dry hours on Saturday. Highs will be in the 50s to around 60F Friday, then upper 60s to mid 70s on Saturday!
Light showers could linger into early Sunday, otherwise expect mostly cloudy skies and cooler highs in the upper 50s to around 60F. Expect rather breezy conditions Friday through the weekend as well.
Looking Ahead… Turning cooler again into next week, with highs Monday and Tuesday only in the upper 40s to low 50s. Staying in the 50s for highs Wednesday and Thursday with just small chances for showers or sprinkles in spots. Some spots might flirt with 60F next Thursday.
Stay dry this evening and enjoy the sunshine on Thursday! -Bill Graul
