Back to Basics: Rangers focusing on fundamentals early in camp
The La Crosse Logan football team is getting back to the basics as the Rangers opened up training camp earlier this week. Head Coach Casey Knoble’s focus is making sure his guys concentrate on the fundamentals.
“We broke down late in games when guys got tired,” Knoble said. “Our focus is to never be tired, keep fighting through all four quarters and we’ve been doing that in our practices and we’re hoping that carries over to our games this year.”
“We’re capable of a lot,” junior wide receiver Nick Joley added. “I think we’ll have a great year.”
“Effort is going to play a big role,” sophomore linebacker Bradley Check said. “I know the first three or four days of practice there’s been plenty of it.”
The Rangers finished their 2021 campaign with a 3-5 record, but Knoble says the goal for this team is to make the playoffs. Logan’s first test will come on Friday, August 19th, as the Rangers open up their 2022 season on the road against Eau Claire Memorial.
