Raymond G. Tippery age 92 of Prairie du Chien passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Crossing Healthcare. He was born June 29, 1927 inn Prairie du Chien, the son of William and Mettie (Benson) Tippery. Ray served in the US Navy during WW II. He owned and operated the Swing Inn in Ferryville. He later owned Travel Mat in Prairie du Chien and after this he was a distributor for Tippery Paper Products. He was an active member of the Lions Club, the Eagles Club and was a 50 year member of the Prairie du Chien Masonic Lodge. Ray is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Lester and Alden, his sisters, Mildred Hjelle, Gladys Spiker, Dorothy Linzenmeyer, Lillian Wiepert and Eva Pitzer.

A celebration of Ray’s life with interment in the Evergreen Cemetery in Prairie du Chien will be announced at a future date. Military honors will be accorded graveside by the Prairie du Chien Honor Guard.
