Red Kettle donation bucket stolen in Onalaska
ONALASKA, Wis. (WKBT) — A donation bucket was stolen from a Salvation Army bell ringing site in Onalaska Friday morning.
The nonprofit says there were no scheduled pickups that day so the person who took the kettle was not a Salvation Army representative. The nonprofit and local law enforcement are investigating the incident and say they have a suspect in mind.
The group is urging its bell ringing volunteers to ask for identification if someone tries to take a bucket during these last few days.
