REEDSBURG, Wis. (WKBT) — A group of community members scored a strike for the Boys & Girls Club-Reedsburg by raising $7,162 for the club during a “9-Pin Tap Tournament” at Brewster’s Lanes in Reedsburg.
On Thursday, event coordinator Carolyn Johnson presented a check for the proceeds from the July 17 event.
Club executive director Karen DeSanto said, “We are also grateful when groups put together fun events to raise funds to support the kids served by the club. So many people were involved with this event — from those that helped plan the event, those who took part in the event, and sponsors.”
The event included not only the 9-Pin Tap tournament but also a silent auction and meat raffle.
The club extends thanks especially to Sharon Schmitt, Val Herritz, Vicky Pauls, Tim and May Fry, Melissa Lange, Angie Nelson, Marcus and Cheryl Parduhn, Bruce Bill, James Mittlesteadt and Carolyn Johnson for the time and effort they invested to make the event.
