LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Due to extreme congestion of traffic from construction projects, the La Crosse Police Department is reminding everyone to be patient and drive carefully. But they’re also reminding everyone that relief from these projects is coming soon.
According to a report from the department, released on Wednesday, Rose Street is closed for a collapsed sewer and should be repaired by Monday, along with the Copeland Avenue Bridge.
Rose Street Bridge and George Street will be completed by next week, and open by November 1.
Bliss Road was a temporary closure for tree removals and was reopened on Wednesday.
The Cass Street Bridge is a DOT project, their plan shows any temporary closures should be between 1 and 2 days.
