Rep. Kind looks back on 2020, ahead to 2021 during La Crosse Area Chamber Forum
Forum is the first in a series for the La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Our area’s elected officials are sharing their thoughts on the year ahead with La Crosse’s business community.
The La Crosse Area Chamber of Commence held their first Forum for the year on Monday.
Wisconsin Representative Ron Kind discussed the chaos at the U.S. Capitol last week as well as the impact of COVID-19.
Kind says the pandemic shined a light on things that are needed here and across the country.
“Just heard from our providers how much they love telehealth services. But to do that well, we need broadband expansion in every inch of our territory, to make sure it is available,” said Wisconsin Representative Ron Kind.
Senators Tammy Baldwin and Ron Johnson were also invited to the forum, but did not attend.
