Report: Packers rookie Deguara out for season with ACL tear
ESPN’s Rob Demovsky cited sources Tuesday saying Packers rookie Josiah Deguara is out for the season due to an ACL tear suffered in Monday’s 30-16 win over the Falcons.
Deguara injured his knee during a punt in the final minutes of Monday’s game. During a Zoom call with media, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said Deguara’s injury “looks to be a pretty bad one.”
Deguara missed the last two games with an ankle injury, but caught a pass for 12 yards and was a key run blocker in Week 1’s win against the Vikings.
The Packers selected Deguara in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
