Reports: Fallone raised $234k in Wis. court race

New campaign finance reports show Wisconsin Supreme Court hopeful Ed Fallone has raised about $234,000 in six weeks.

Fallone, a Marquette University law professor, is trying to unseat incumbent Justice Pat Roggensack. The two will square off in the April 2 spring election.

The candidates had until midnight Monday to turn in reports tracking donations and spending between Feb. 5 and March 18 to the state Government Accountability Board. Fallone’s reports show he raised $233,967 over that period and $314,270 between Jan. 1 and March 18.

He spent $172,305 between Feb. 5 and March 18, bringing his spending for the year to $188,895. He had $125,374 on hand.

Roggensack hadn’t turned in her reports by early afternoon.
