Rhino briefly escapes enclosure at Missouri zoo

A rhinoceros is safely back inside her home at the Kansas City Zoo after a brief escape.

UPI reports that zoo officials said the female eastern black rhino, named Imara, didn’t go near any public areas during her adventure.

She managed to get out after a padlock on her enclosure was left unsecured.

Imara was able to gain access to a zookeeper hallway and was outside of her stall for about 15 minutes, UPI reports.

She was returned to her enclosure without incident.
