Ribbon-cutting event celebrates new flow trails in La Crosse’s Upper Hixon Trails
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — A popular hiking destination in La Crosse is opening up some new trails.
A ribbon-cutting along the Upper Hixon Trails celebrates a year-long development partnership between La Crosse’s Park and Recreation Department and the Outdoor Recreation Alliance. The new flow trails are designed for bicyclists of all abilities, while preventing some water damage and erosion.
Wednesday evening’s event included guided tours, bike demos, and a race.
