La Crosse Riverfest brings unique helicopter experience
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT)- Another popular event Riverfest has to offer is helicopter rides. People can pay to fly and get a different look at Riverfest and all of La Crosse.
Lake Superior Helicopters travels around to different places to help people get a better look at their communities. There are three different rides they offer, a two and a half-mile ride, a five-mile ride, and a 10-mile ride.
“We got involved with Riverfest in 2019 and then in 2020 due to COVID Riverfest wasn’t here and we weren’t able to come. But this year we are starting up again with Riverfest and all of the other events we would’ve missed out on last year,” said Lake Superior Helicopter supervisor, Connor Kahnle.
The company is based out of Duluth, Minnesota but travels all across the midwest.
