Riverfest nearing return to La Crosse’s Riverside Park
Event starts June 30th
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Riverfest returns to La Crosse’s Riverside Park soon.
Music, kids events and fireworks will be part of the celebration.
There won’t be a new Commodore for this year’s event.
And instead of food vendors under a tent, this year food trucks will be on hand to serve food so people can spread out.
“We’re removing a lot of our fencing which opens up the park. It allows people to wander and kind of be free throughout the day, again not in a centralized location around everyone else, if they choose not to be,” said Riverfest media director Derek Martin.
Riverfest runs June 30th through July 4th.
