Riverside North to be first site reviewed for possible Public Market in La Crosse
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Riverside North will be the first site reviewed for a possible Public Market in La Crosse.
La Crosse’s Economic Development planner confirms that the former Mobil Oil site just north of downtown is the first site to be considered.
One or two more sites will also be selected for consideration for the possible public market.
The city is waiting to hear from some property owners to see if they are open to being part of the study.
La Crosse’s city officials have been working with an outside company since October to see if a Public Market would be a good fit for the city.
