Robert John Vodde

Robert John Vodde, 72, of West Salem died on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at the Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse. He was born in La Crosse on June 12, 1949, to Edward and Beatrice (Lovin) Vodde.
Robert graduated from Logan High School in 1967. He married Roberta Buss on February 5, 1972, in La Crosse. Robert had worked at Trane Company for 36 years, retiring in 2009. He was a doting father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by two daughters, Tammy Vodde and Cathy (Jason) Lee, both of La Crosse, three grandchildren, Jenna (fiancé Josh Wallin) Lee, Jason (fiancé Sara Hartley) Lee Jr., and Jackson Lee, a great-granddaughter Willow Lee, and his siblings, Shirley Potaracke, Donna Amundson, Sharon (Bruce) Bion, Bonita (John) Mannel, Linda Vodde life partner Bruce Becker, and Connie (Allen) Olson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta, his parents, a sister Marilyn Taylor, a brother Dale (Ruth) Vodde, and two brothers-in-law, Joseph Potaracke and Richard Amundson.
