Rockland man dies in early morning car crash Friday
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — A 21-year-old Rockland man dies in car accident in La Crosse County.
The La Crosse County Sheriff’s Department received a call just before 5:30 a.m. of a one-car accident. Authorities say Vincent Davis, 21 of Rockland, was traveling north on Big Creek Road at the time of the accident. The car struck a tree a and the victim was trapped inside.
Davis was pronounced dead at the scene.
Though the accident is still under investigation, speed does appear to be a contributing factor.
