Roger J. Becwar

Roger J. Becwar, age 88 of Eastman, WI passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born December 14, 1931, the son of Fred and Margaret (Degnan) Becwar. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Korean War. He married Donna Kussmaul on January 5, 1959. Roger farmed with his son Bob in the Eastman area for many years. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Donna; their children, Bob Becwar and Penny (Loyde) Beers; sister, Theresa (Leonard) Meister; grandchildren, Stacy (Jon) Gerdes, Mandy (Nate) Maruna, Mike (Teresa) Beers, and Michelle Beers; and great-grandchildren, Skylin, Danielle, Brooke, and Brendan. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, Jerry, and his brother, James.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, February 10, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Eastman, WI, Rev. Rajan Anandan officiating. Military honors will be accorded graveside by the American Legion Post 0252. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
