Roger ‘Rogie’ Mikkelson

Roger A. “Rogie” Mikkelson, 60, of Onalaska died at his home on Thursday June 23, 2022. He was born on January 30, 1963, to Roger and Marjorie “Pat” (Daffinson) Mikkelson.

A 1981 graduate of Holmen High School, Roger loved football, especially the Packers! Rock music: KISS was his all-time favorite, followed by Def Leopard and REO Speedwagon. He liked going to rock concerts and to the races at the speedway in West Salem. Roger also enjoyed playing pool and cards (euchre). In his later days, he was always seen drinking Mtn Dew. He always had to have a Dew! But most of all he loved his daughters and grandchildren very much.

Roger is survived by his parents, Roger and Pat of Onalaska; two children Sheila Prusinski and April Bilski; three grandchildren, Dre Green, Sorrel and Lorreah Prusinski, and three siblings, Rick and Randy Mikkelson and Paula Radde.

A celebration of Roger’s life will be at a later date.
