Sam Adams celebrates Tom Brady with ‘GOAT’ beer

Just in time for Sunday’s Super Bowl, Boston brewer Sam Adams has introduced a beer honoring New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

According to The Associated Press, the beer, a double IPA, is called “Too Old, Too Slow, Still Here,” a reference to Brady’s detractors and his continued success at age 41.

The beer’s label features a goat holding a football in reference to those who call the four-time Super Bowl MVP the GOAT, or Greatest of All Time.

The limited-edition beer was only available at the brewer’s Boston tap room in the city’s Jamaica Plain neighborhood on Thursday afternoon.

With the beer’s run limited to 199 crowlers, in honor of Brady’s 2000 draft position at pick No. 199, it quickly sold out as fans lined up in frigid temperatures for a chance to snag one of the cans, Boston TV station WBZ reported.

Brady and the Patriots will take on the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta on Sunday. The game will be Brady’s ninth Super Bowl as he seeks his sixth championship.
