Santa Claus makes early stop in French Island

Town of Campbell fire department assits Santa on tour

TOWN OF CAMPBELL, Wis. (WKBT) — Christmas is a few weeks away, but that did not stop Santa Claus from making an early stop.

Saint Nick was in French Island on Sunday and toured public parks while making stops to meet with children.  The Town of Campbell fire department helped out by escorting Santa on his tour. 

While children are known to ask Santa for gifts, they were not the only ones that enjoyed Santa’s early stop.

“It’s not only just the kids that light up, but it’s the parents too.  You’ll see people and you’ll call them by their first name and you’ll catch them totally by surprise and its just special,” said Santa Claus.
